The 3Rs Oversight Committee provides direction to The 3Rs – Rights ● Responsibilities ● Realities and The 3Rs+, both partnership programs with the
Cleveland Metropolitan and East Cleveland School Districts. The 3Rs program goals are to improve understanding of and respect for the rule of law and the
U.S. Constitution; improve passage rates of American Government Course end-of-year testing, a required component for high school graduation; provide practical career counseling to focus students on their potential
beyond high school; and to improve the pipeline of minorities pursuing legal careers in our region. The 3Rs+ program engages volunteers in opportunities outside the classroom for mentoring, field trips, college counseling, and career shadowing experiences for interested students.
3Rs Oversight Committee members meet monthly. They review and prepare curriculum, promote recruitment and retention of volunteers, assist in recognizing volunteers and program
partners, and conduct annual evaluation activities.
