Course Description:

We will discuss R.C. 2151.421, Ohio’s mandatory reporting statute that requires professionals to report sexual abuse of minors.  We will consider difficulties professionals face when determining whether to file a report of sexual misconduct pursuant to this statute.  

This presentation would be appropriate to any professionals that have a duty to report sexual abuse including attorneys, teachers, or medical personnel.

About Our Presenter:

Philip Bogdanoff is a nationally recognized speaker on various legal issues.  He has done numerous presentations on child sexual predators and has spoken on this issue to prosecutor groups, attorneys and legal professionals in Ohio, West Virginia and Indiana.  As a police legal advisor, he determined whether decades old sexual abuse cases could be prosecuted and advised police on how to conduct the investigation of these cases.
