Law Day 2016

Law Day 2016

Join the CMBA and The City Club of Cleveland for the 2016 Law Day Celebration

In 2016, the nation marks the 50th anniversary of perhaps the nation’s best-known U.S. Supreme Court case, Miranda v. Arizona.  The 2016 Law Day theme - Miranda: More than Words - will explore the procedural protections afforded to all of us by the U.S. Constitution, how these rights are safeguarded by the courts, and why the preservation of these principles is essential to our liberty.

Cait T. Clarke
is Chief of Defender Services in the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts in Washington DC, which provides the administrative support and oversight of financial for 81 Federal Defender Organizations nationwide as well as approximately 11,000 panel attorneys who represent accused persons in federal courts.

Cait has been involved in leadership, management and strategic initiatives for state and federal defender organizations nationwide for almost three decades.
