Hot Talk: Coronavirus and the Law

Hot Talk: Coronavirus and the Law
Tuesday March 10, 2020

As health officials work to contain the spread of Coronavirus, they are preparing for a possible pandemic globally and within the United States. What is the legal impact on employees and workers, those in health care and patients who might be ordered into quarantine? Our panel looks at rights and responsibilities under the law in the event of an unprecedented health emergency.

Panelists include Karen Giffen, Managing Partner at Giffen & Kaminski, LLC, Vice Admiral Forrest Faison III Sr. VP for research & innovation/chief healthcare strategy officer at Cleveland State University, and Bruce Hennes, President of Hennes Communications specializing in crisis management.

Hot Talks are held the second Tuesday of each month at CMBA. They are free, open forums to learn and share ideas. Bring a lunch and join us for this important discussion.
