The CMBA, in partnership with the Norman S. Minor Bar Association, Special Counsel, and the Midwest Region of the National Black Law Student Association, hosted the 2015 CMBA Diversity & Inclusion Career Fair on August 21, 2015 at the CMBA's Conference Center. The Career Fair offered job seekers an introduction and opportunity to interact with employers.

The CMBA and its partners are committed to promoting and encouraging a diverse and inclusive legal community.  Since 2013, the CMBA has provided a Career Fair for job seekers to meet employers and compete for summer clerkships, contract and full-time positions.  Thanks to the participation of 20+ employers and 300 job seekers, the Career Fairs have been dynamic events resulting in successful placement opportunities for diverse candidates.

Attendance to every Career Fair is open to new and seasoned attorneys, as well as eligible law students who are (a) currently enrolled in a J.D. program; (b) a member of the class of 2017 (current 2Ls) or 2016 (current 3Ls); and (c) attending an Ohio law school, a law school at a historically Black college or university, or one of the other listed Midwest law schools, or (d) a permanent resident of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, attending law school out-of-state.
