Support the CMBF

The Bar Foundation relies almost entirely on financial support from individuals, law firms and other organizations, within and outside of the legal community, through special events, donations and the Fellows Program. The CMBF is a 501(c)(3) organization; gifts to it are tax deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

When making a donation, you can designate your contribution as a "Foundation Donation" which will apply to the general fund and support all of the various Justice For All programs. If you choose, you also may designate a specific program to which to contribution.  A few of these specific programs are listed below, but you can learn more about all the programs funded by the Bar Foundation here.

The Bar Foundation also depends on the support of those who are willing to demonstrate a long-term commitment to sustaining the Bar Foundation’s programs through its Fellows Program.

The Friends of The 3Rs is another way for individuals to make an annual commitment to the Bar Foundation, in particular its signature 3Rs Program. This is a giving program for CMBA members, volunteers and friends of the program to help the Bar Foundation sustain The 3Rs through charitable gifts. There are a variety of giving levels, starting at $50.

Furthermore, the Bar Foundation encourages CMBA members and the whole legal community to donate their time, talents and expertise in service to the public. In return, volunteers and supporters enhance their careers through networking and serving along side others in the profession with a shared commitment to give back.
