Our Bar Foundation is ever-grateful for the support provided by donors, volunteers and partners who help serve so many in our community. Together, we are able to leverage your gifts of time, talent and treasure to change lives, one person at a time. With your support, the programs funded by the Bar Foundation have made a big impact in 2017-2018.
We positively impacted the lives of 4,843 people in our community through the service of 1,082 volunteer lawyers who gave 16,174 volunteer hours valued at over $2,425,000.
3,000 Cleveland and East Cleveland city school students and graduates,
900 area high school students participating in the annual mock trial competitions,
585 homeless, low income and at risk individuals in shelters, at social service centers and in pro se clinics,
150 income eligible artists and arts organizations,
60 grass-roots nonprofit organizations who serve those in need in our community
= 1 grateful Bar Foundation.


The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation funds outreach programs that are organized primarily under the Justice For All and Diversity & Inclusion umbrellas of the CMBA. These wide-ranging and innovative programs currently include: The 3Rs – Rights, Responsibilities, Realities; Cleveland Homeless Legal Assistance Program; Cleveland Mock Trial and Ohio Mock Trial Competitions; Pro Se Divorce Clinics; Reach Out Pro Bono for Nonprofits; Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts; Law Day; Louis Stokes Scholars Program; and Stephanie Tubbs Jones Summer Legal Academy.
