The CMBA’s Professionalism Conciliation Panel was formed to help improve the deportment of lawyers in Cuyahoga County in their interaction with each other and the courts.  The Panel uses the Statement of Professionalism issued by the Supreme Court of Ohio in 1997 and the Lawyer’s Creed of Professionalism adopted by the CMBA in 2013 as the guiding principles for the program.  If you have a problem with a lawyer that may not rise to the level of ethical misconduct, you may contact Bar Counsel to discuss the issue and talk about whether an informal mediation by the Panel may help alleviate the situation.  Questions about the Panel may be directed to Heather Zirke at (216) 696-3525, ext. 4006 or
