Tim has always desired a career focused on helping others. Tim studied education during his undergrad at Kent State University and received a Master’s in Social Work from Cleveland State University. Tim has always said that he did just as much teaching if not more as a probation officer than he would in a classroom.
During his 30 year tenure as an employee of the Juvenile Court he has served and performed duties as a Probation Officer, Placement Officer, Placement Manager, Chief Probation Officer, and Deputy Court Administrator. Tim retired this past June.
In 2004, Tim was awarded the George W. Farmer Juvenile Line Officer of the Year Award by the Ohio Chief Probation Officers’ Association.
Tim and his wife, Amanda, live in the Fairview Park home he grew up in. They have three daughters, Abby, Molly, and Grace. He hopes to one day attend a championship parade for the Browns or Indians (preferably both).
