Golf Outing - June 26

We were thrilled to host yet another SOLD-OUT Outing at Westwood Country Club in Rocky River on Monday, June 26. We kicked off the morning with a delicious grill-out before our shotgun start at noon. We could not have asked for better weather for a day filled with camaraderie, contests, prizes and fun!

Thank you to all who participated and sponsored. This event would not be as successful without your generous and continued support. View photos of our 2017 outing here

Stay tuned for details regarding our 2018 Outing.

CMBA 10th Annual Meeting

Cleveland Public Auditorium was buzzing Friday, June 2 when the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association celebrated it's 10th Annual Meeting! Darrell A. Clay of Walter | Haverfield LLP was inducted as the tenth President of the Bar Association; in addition, all of the new trustees of the Bar Association and Bar Foundation were sworn in in front of our 600+ crowd. We also celebrated an incredible milestone in the history of our organization: the 10th anniversary of the unification of two predecessor organizations, the Cuyahoga County Bar Association and the Cleveland Bar Association. As a unified bar, we have risen to great heights that gives us great cause for celebration.

Introducing the CMBA Leadership Academy

Bring Your Leadership Skills Full Circle

The CMBA knows lawyers...and we know leadership.  We're combining two of our strengths into one program specifically designed for the needs and interests of our members. Launching this fall: the CMBA's Leadership Academy.

Whether you are emerging from the crowd within in your organization, or you have established yourself as a go-to leader, we want to inspire and challenge you to drive your successes to the next level.

Applications will be considered for two cohorts: one for Emerging Leaders (minimum 5 years legal experience) and Established Leaders (minimum 15 years legal experience). Each class will be limited in size to maximize individual engagement.
