Mark your calendar for May 4 and 5 for the upcoming O'Neill Bankruptcy Institute, which promises an engaging and informative view of commercial and consumer bankruptcy issues arising in a variety of contexts.

Our theme this year is Adding Structure to Restructuring: Strategies for Surviving Uncertain Times.

While we will continue to focus on social, economic, and legal trends affecting bankruptcy practitioners, we will feature other practice areas and discuss how they intersect with bankruptcy, including distressed real estate; marijuana; and data privacy and cyber security among others.   In addition, during the first afternoon, we will have commercial and consumer breakout sessions that highlight specific issues relevant to the different practices, including panels with in-house bank workout departments, private equity, and the Supreme Court’s opinions in Jevic and Midland Funding.

Why should you attend this year's O'Neill?

  • Hear from renowned national and local speakers in the world of bankruptcy
  • Say hello to all of the judges from the Northern District of Ohio and sit in on their panel discussions.
  • Knock out your professional conduct credit
  • Attend our multiple breakout sessions for consumer and commercial practitioners.
  • Pick up 11.5 hours of CLE over two days for less than $35 per hour - including lunch!
  • Network over lunches and attend the popular IWIRC reception after day one.
