The Government Attorney Section is a resource of value to attorneys that represent government agencies in the Cleveland area and exists to better integrate government attorneys into the work of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
The section focuses on the legal work performed by our member government agencies and the lawyers who perform these legal services. Section meetings are a forum to learn about the work of our colleagues and network with other attorneys who can make each of us a more informed and productive legal counsel for our clients. Additionally, we provide frequent discounted CLE programs to keep government attorneys updated on the topics that are of the most interest to them. We are in the process of improving and adding more resources to this section (half-day CLEs, Justice For All opportunities, and more electronic resources have been discussed, to name a few).
If you are interested in contributing your ideas or your time, please join one of our meetings. We meet at noon in the CMBA offices on the third Wednesday of every other month.

The Government Attorneys Section and the Cuyahoga County Law Directors Association co-sponsor the Annual President's Day Seminar each February.
The Section holds bi-monthly meetings with CLE credit.
