Women in Law Host “On the Go!” May 21
What: The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association Women in Law (WIL) section will host “On the Go!” The day-long event is designed for women of all ages, and girls ages 12 to 18, who are interested in a day of friendship, inspiration and celebration. The free event will offer fun, creative workshops focusing on a variety of topics including exploration of self expression through theater, dance and poetry; examining images in the media; creating personal vision boards; developing pathways to a new and/or better career; and understanding your legal rights at home and in the workplace.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
“On the Go!” is a collaborative event co-sponsored by WIL, The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland; Cuyahoga Community College’s Women in Transition Program; The Cleveland Rape Crisis Center; and Studiothink, LLC.

9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Registration begins at 9 a.m.
Why: On the Go! was established as part of WIL’s Build, Innovate, Grow (BIG) initiative. The goal of BIG is to help WIL members reach their true potential personally and professionally. Furthermore, BIG leverages 400 women lawyers to a make bigger difference in the lives of other women and ultimately, in the strength of the city. Through the vision and inspiration of its members, WIL launched its inaugural program, "Where there is a WIL, there is a way."
