This year, the CMBA is pleased to host Joseph A. Calabrese, Chief Executive Officer & General Manager of the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA), as our keynote speaker at the luncheon.
“This day emphasizes our need to reduce the impact of the legal community on the environment and it is one piece of the broader sustainability purpose of the Green Initiative Committee,” said Maureen A. Brennan, chair of the CMBA Green Initiative Committee and partner at BakerHostetler LLP. “We are pleased that our efforts, and the efforts of certified firms, have positively impacted the environment, helped law offices reduce costs, and positioned the CMBA as a "green leader" among bar associations. Each year, it is rewarding to celebrate those certified at our luncheon, but equally important to hear from others, like the RTA, about best practices and initiatives for sustainability.”
