2012 annual meeting

CMBA Fifth Annual Meeting

The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's 2012 Annual Meeting was held Friday, June 15 at the Marriott at Key Center. This year's event was sold out and hosted more than 450 guests.

Highlights of the luncheon included the installation of officers and trustees for 2012-2013, the recognition of this year's 50-year members and 65-year-plus honoree, and presentation of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association's annual awards.

		Part 1 includes: recognition of Honorary Members, presentation of Annual CMBA Awards, Immediate Past President Barbara Roman's farewell speech; introduction of 2012-13 President Carter Strang by Steven Dettelbach; swearing in of Carter Strang by Supreme Court of Ohio Justice Maureen O'Connor; introduction of the new officers and trustees and administering of oath by Administrative Judge Nancy Fuerst.
		Part 2 includes: inaugural speech of 2012-13 President Carter Strang which includes remarks from Louis Stokes and videos from Louis Stokes Scholars participants. His speech also includes a video about the CMBA's new Citizens Legal Academy.
