The CMBA offers a joint membership with the Cleveland Association of Paralegals (CAP). Through this agreement, paralegals enjoy TRIPLE membership for one rate: CMBA, CAP and The National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. (NFPA).

JoinMultiple types of paralegal membership are available, including voting ($115), associate ($95), student ($55), sustaining ($220) and educator ($85). You can sign up for membership by downloading and completing a printed application or by signing into this site and joining online.

Join now and get membership through June 30, 2015.

CAP’s fiscal and membership year runs from July 1 of each year and expires on June 30 of the following year. Membership dues are not prorated throughout the year

Pro Bono Reporting
The NFPA Pro Bono Team has established an easy way for individual members to report both pro bono and community service hours electronically. Individuals can contact the NFPA and request the electronic form at For first requests, the individual should indicate whether they are a member of a local paralegal association or an NFPA individual sustaining member. Note that a new request/separate form is needed for acts of service for: 1.) each different agency/organization during a calendar year; and 2.) pro bono or community service (they cannot be reported together). If you'd like to share information on the pro bono projects you are working on, please send the information to
