Lawyer Referral Service

The Lawyer Referral Service (LRS), a public service of the CMBA, assists people who are seeking paid legal representation but don’t know who to call. Through convenient and confidential procedures, the LRS serves as a bridge between the public and the legal community by assisting individuals who have legal questions or need legal advice with a referral to a qualified, credible attorney. Referrals can be made based on areas of law and geography.

Learn more about the Lawyer Referral Service via the March 15 interview on American Law Radio (Listen to Part 1 and Part 2 of the interview).

It is important to realize that many problems can be solved without a lawyer. Cleveland has many qualified service agencies that may be able to help you with a problem, and we will be happy to refer you to one of them, as well.

The CMBA's Lawyer Referral Service connects you to a qualified attorney.  Our experienced and friendly coordinators will match you with an attorney that fits your needs.  Simply click here or visit our online request form.  Our frequently asked questions section gives you all the details on our service and how we can best help you.
