Lawyer-Client Fee Dispute Resolution Committee

The Lawyer-Client Fee Dispute Resolution Committee is made up of attorneys who are members of the Association in good standing who represent a broad spectrum of the bar, both in type of practice and type of law firm, and non-attorneys who represent a broad spectrum of the community, who volunteer to serve on confidential arbitration panels to resolve fee disputes between clients and their lawyers.

The Committee generally evaluates appointments in the spring of each year for a one year term to begin at the new Association fiscal year, July 1. Experience with arbitration is considered for lawyer member appointments. Members of the Committee may not also serve on the Certified Grievance Committee.
