10th ANNUAL HALLOWEEN RUN FOR JUSTICE

Thank you to everyone who participated in and supported the 10th Annual Halloween Run for Justice! The event was a great success raising more money in sponsorships and bringing in more attendees than in previous years. Click here to see race results. This annual special event is designed to benefit the pro bono and public service programs supported by the CMBF, including The 3Rs Program. The event, planned in partnership with Hermes Sports and Events Cleveland, features 5 mile, 5 K and one mile runs and a 5 K walk. Awards are presented to top male and female runners overall and in multiple age groups, Fastest Lawyer, Fastest Judge, Fastest Paralegal and team awards (four members registered as a team in the 5 mile or 5 K events).
Both runners and walkers are welcome to participate in this event and costumes are strongly encouraged on and off the course and the best child and adult costumes will be awarded. Catering to the whole family, the morning includes lots of activities including pumpkin decorating, a DJ, face painting, a bounce house and the balloon creations of Flower Clown.
All proceeds from event registrations and sponsorships benefit the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Foundation (CMBF), which funds the Justice For All pro bono and public service programs of the CMBA, including the 3Rs program. The 3Rs – Rights ● Responsibilities ● Realities – is an unprecedented, award-winning program that calls more than 500 volunteers from the Cleveland legal community to go to 10th grade social studies classes in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and East Cleveland City Schools to personally connect with the students, educate them about the U.S. Constitution and provide practical career counseling.
